A couple of weeks ago I asked a young Muslim friend what he thought about the Mohammed Cartoons controversy.

For a couple of minutes he let fly with outrage - criticical of both the Danish Newspaper which first published the cartoons and of the violent reaction by some Muslims around the world.

After he'd finished his outpouring I asked him if he'd actually seen the cartoons.

Answer: No, he hadn't.

Two days later I provided him with copies of these cartoons.

Plus a copy of an article by Andrew Bolt which included a picture which was CLAIMED by some Muslims to be a mockery of Mohammed, but actually had NOTHING to do with Islam or Mohammed.

In Muslim Bigots Impose Blasphemy Laws on Victoria I argued that May Helou and Diane Sisely should be investigated for conspiring to destroy the reputations of two Christian pastors and of trying to intimidate critics of Islam.

I also accused the Equal Opportunity Commission and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal of being a bunch of Stalinoids who treat the fundamental principal of free speech with complete contempt.

Additionally, I deliberately flouted the state’s anti-vilification law by insulting both the Koran and the Prophet, something the persecuted pastors certainly did not do.

At the behest of Muslim bigots and multiculturalist fanatics the Bracks Government suspended free speech in Victoria by imposing a blasphemy law dressed up as an anti-vilification law. This has given Islamo-fascists a
freehand to attack critics of Islam.

The Bracks Government’s Racial and Religious Tolerance Act is not working.

Rather than resolving problems and enhancing social harmony, the racial and religious tolerance law is having the reverse effect.

The Liberal Party’s concerns about the possible consequences of the new law were first raised in 2001 but the Premier assured us at the time that the law would “reasonably and in good faith� protect people who genuinely practiced their religion.
